The Sustainable Business Council (SBC) and Climate Leaders Coalition (CLC) have released their joint election priorities for political parties ahead of November’s General Election. The 2026 Election Priorities: Policies for Driving Sustainable Growth briefing paper sets out 20 business-led recommendations for the next Government, including five immediate priorities, backed by more than 140 businesses that contribute over 42% of New Zealand’s private sector GDP.
