Mondiale is the largest privately owned international logistics organisation in New Zealand who has steadily grown its operational footprint globally to support our clients over the past 30 years in which we have been operating.
Given our significant scale with over 38 owned delivery vehicles operating in the metropolitan Auckland we are able to provide seamless supply chain solutions for our customers.
Our sizeable investment in Information Technology provides our clients with total visibility and is also supported with Business Intelligence analysts whom are able to leverage from our client’s own ERP systems.
With our longstanding network of global agents whom like us are local market leaders, we have the best and most experienced staff to ensure our service standards are maintained to the highest levels.
Actions Underway
Over the past several years Mondiale has made a sizeable investment into energy efficiency, improved staff awareness campaigns and behavioral changes, our long term goal is to continue to further reduce our carbon footprint and move towards a greener future.
We have targeted our three largest emission sources and have made significant progress in each of these areas. The areas identified were electricity, fuel and recycling.
Mondiale has made significant changes to our lighting with replacement of fluorescent lighting with more efficient LED lighting. Our warehouses have been fitted with LUX sensors to ensure we utilise natural lighting wherever possible. Mondiale has completed a level 2 Energy Audit and perform thermal imaging testing annually.
A strong focus is staff participation in our “switch it off” campaign.
Diesel and motor vehicle fuel usage is around improving our efficiency, to date our drivers have completed a heavy vehicle driver assessment for safe and fuel efficient driving. We schedule runs and times to maximize usage and reduce down time.
We recycle all office paper, plastics, glass and cardboard and promote recycling in all areas of our business to ensure that waste landfill is reduced.
We are committed to leading our industry in minimizing the impact of our activities and we measure our gas emissions in compliance with ISO 14064-1 standards and have this independently verified.
Mondiale was nominated for a Green Ribbon Award in 2013

Most plastic is made from non-renewable petrochemicals. The extraction process and conversion into plastic releases carbon into the atmosphere, adding to climate change. We found a packaging solution that can help to combat climate change. It’s plastic made from sugarcane.
